The Samsung Model RSG257AARS is a popular side by side/counter depth refrigerator which has received high ratings overall.  At around 2,070$ this is not a cheap product, even though counter depth models are generally more expensive than regular models.

For the money though, you do get all the bells and whistles, and of course a refrigerator which fits flush with your counter.

The exterior finish is real stainless steel, not a look alike.  Storage capacity is 24.1 square cubic feet, which is average for a counter depth model.  Thru door ice and water is there of course, and with a filtration unit which has a replacement indicator light.

The shelves are spill proof glass.  You get exterior temperature controls, with six internal sensors for careful monitoring.  Samsung also includes power freeze and power cool options, which allows you set your fridge for fast cooling when the temperature gets thrown off due to repeated door openings.

There is an open door alarm, and the doors do have child locks, a hard to find feature in lower priced models.  On the door interiors there is gallon storage to save space in the main compartment.

A humidity controlled crisper, wine rack, and theatre like internal lighting complete the interior picture.  So yes, that's a lot of features, and a lot of fridge.
