The Samsung Model RF293HABP/XAA has received nearly perfect ratings at at least one online site.  Lets look at features and quality to verify.

At less than 1,600$ this model is relatively inexpensive for a French Door refrigerator.  It has a huge amount of internal storage space at 28.5 square cubic feet.  This number is a lot bigger than most French Door Models, or refrigerators period.

The one feature this model does not have is thru the door ice and water.  If you absolutely have to have this feature, then this is not the fridge for you.  Otherwise, read on.

Except for the thru door ice and water, this fridge has a ton of features-its packed with them.  The temperature controls are electronic, and located on top of the fridge, away from children.  You also get a child lock option which is something usually found only in much more expensive models.  This unit is very child friendly.

There are two evaporators, one for the fridge, and one for the freezer which creates better storage conditions.  Glass spill proof shelves, 2 humidity controlled crispers, door gallon storage, built in icemaker, timed open door alarm, theatre like LED lighting, water filtration unit with alert light when filter needs to be replaced, and last but not least its Energy Star qualified.
